Glendale, CA – PSI, a Lifelong Learner Holdings (LLH) business, is pleased to announce that the American Board of Perianesthesia Nursing Certification, (ABPANC) has signed a new multi-year contract for full test development and administration services with PSI, the leading testing provider for specialty nursing certification.
PSI will provide critical services to support ABPANC’s two certification programs, Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN®) and Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse (CAPA®). These national professional certification programs are designed for registered nurses caring for patients who have experienced sedation, analgesia, and anesthesia in a hospital or ambulatory care facility. Starting in the 2021 fall window, candidates will be able to take their exams both at PSI Test Centers across the US, and via live online proctoring.
Online proctoring will be offered as a modality this year via PSI Bridge™, PSI’s multi-modal testing platform for anytime, anywhere proctoring. Providing candidates with the flexibility of pursuing a certification with a broader choice of testing modalities is integral to ABPANC’s mission. Streamlining the candidate’s certification experience and making testing options more accessible were key to PSI being selected, as well as its capabilities in content development for high-stakes healthcare exams.
ABPANC will also be utilizing PSI’s new partner practice exam delivery platform from GMetrix, an Mbition company. GMetrix is a feature-rich platform that provides a high degree of flexibility and a positive candidate experience.
